Polynucleotides are not ‘skin bosters’ although one of the Polynucleotide treatments that we use does contain Hyaluronic Acid (NEWEST), so is a combination treatment.
Skin boosters come in several types, each offering unique benefits to enhance the health and appearance of the skin.
They are generally hyaluronic acid based, a naturally occurring substance in the body, known for moisturising and volume enhancing properties.
Hyaluronic acid based skin boosters offer numerous benefits. They provide deep skin renewal, improve skin quality, and help reduce fine lines and wrinkles. They also offer long-lasting rejuvenation, improve skin elasticity, and improve skin tone. They can add volume to the skin, resulting in a youthful, radiant glow.
PROFHILO® uses bio-remodelling as an innovative approach to anti-ageing which counteracts skin laxity of the face and in traditionally difficult to treat areas, such as the neck, décolletage, hands and arms.
We also offer PROFHILO® BODY which I use on patients who want to improve the quality of skin in other areas- for example around the tummy button or knees.
Using bio-remodelling as an innovative approach to anti-ageing
Patients tell me that their skin feels smoother and looks brighter after PROFHILO®. It works very well when combined with dermal fillers. We often combine treatments to give natural incredible results.
Developed with IBSAs patented NAHYCO technology, PROFHILO® contains one of the highest concentrations of ultra pure hyaluronic acid and delivers prolonged efficacy.
Clinical data confirms improvement in skin texture, elasticity and hydration with an immediate tightening effect.
A specially developed injection technique reduces pain, downtime and the number of sessions, making it a really acceptable procedure for my patients, especially those who may not have had aesthetic treatments before.
The hyaluronic acid in PROFHILO® is not cross-linked which means that it is fully absorbed into the skin and therefore does not change how you look at all. Your skin however will glow and look more healthy.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many Profhilo treatments will I need?
To achieve optimal results we recommend 2 treatments spaced a month apart. To maintain the outcome further treatments are recommended every 4-6 months.
When will I see my results from Profihilo treatment?
Results can be seen by 4 weeks after your first treatment but many patients see improvement after 1-2 days. There will be patients who do not see the full result until after the second treatment. Treatment can last 9-12 months after the second session but results vary depending on the condition of your skin beforehand.
Does Profhilo treatment hurt?
Anaesthetic numbing cream is used if requested but this is not always wanted by patients. A very fine needle is used and so the discomfort is minimal. The use of a numbing cream can be discussed with you on the day.
Is there any downtime after Profhilo?
Profhilo does not require any downtime but there will be tiny raised lumps for a few hours after the treatment. This is because the gel needs to be placed very superficially in the skin in order to work as intended. These completely disappear leaving a smoother, brighter complexion.
How do I know which skin booster to ask for?
Your skin will be assessed and the best type of skin booster will be explained to you. This depends upon the treatment goal and preexisting skin concerns. The other skin bossing treatments are used in a similar way to Profhilo and are chosen according to patient need.

I highly recommend Dr Trish. Her expertise and knowledge is outstanding. I felt an immediate - within an hour! - change in my mood and energy levels when I started taking the regulated estreogen. I have also experienced an uptake in the other HRT supplements recommended by Dr Trish! She takes the time to explain the practicalities and also the science and medical aspect of HRT. I also really appreciate the ease with which to book an appointment and also using the Dr Trish app. All in all, highly recommend Dr Trish, particularly if you, like me, had started to struggle with anxiety and low mood... the HRT is a life saver and it's good to be with such an experienced and caring doctor.

Dr Trish has the most incredible and loveliest bedside manner I've ever come across in a Doctor. She makes you feel safe, cared for physically, emotionally and mentally. I saw Trish in February of this year, as I was really struggling to manage some really unpleasant symptoms of menopause. I really wanted a holistic individualised approach, as opposed to a one size fits all. I was so frustrated that the more conventional treatments weren't working for me, and began to feel that I was beyond help. I found my appointment with Trish an absolute eye opener, because of her attention to detail, her interest in me as a person, and her assessment of my history. I first met Trish last year when I sought advice about ongoing menopausal issues. Trish has a thorough understanding of the menopause, her knowledge is up to date and her compassion is evident. I had some worrying symptoms that my GP felt did not warrant investigation but Trish provided me with a clear and concise assessment which my NHS GP took on board. This resulted in prompt action and subsequent treatment on the NHS which without her expertise I would not have had access to. To say I am grateful is an understatement! To say thank you really doesn’t seem to do justice to the support Trish provided, but thank you again. I would highly recommend Trish and I would not hesitate to seek her advice again if needed.

Another amazing treatment from Dr. Trish. This one to dramatically reduce the appearance of fine lines above the top lip. Super pleased with the result including the look of the lips themselves (which I confess I was slightly concerned about). All of my treatments have been planned really carefully through a lot of discussion and I could not be happier with the results.

I have been going to Trish for my HRT as well as other anti-ageing treatments such as Obagi skincare and Botox for over a year. Imo she is a formidable ally for us pre/post and menopausal lasses: she took time to investigate my concerns, helped me sort out my HRT regiment according to my personal situation, which my GPs neither have the time nor resources to, and she keeps my treatment regiment monitored. I even got my husband signed up for Trish's HRT treatment and he's doing really well as well. I also totally trust Trish to do my Botox treatments - she's very gentle in her touch, precise in her dosing and clearly understands the facial anatomy better than many other practitioners not very thoroughly trained in the subject of human anatomy. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

DR Trish is a super understanding woman . I've been seeing her for a year . I was on Antidepressants which have I've suffered on them . Dr Trish said I need hrt not AD. I have tried a few hrt and with tweaks here and there I'm starting to feel better slowly. Worth every penny. Thankyou Dr Trish 😘

My consultation with Dr Trish Davis was completely reassuring and reaffirming.
